Things I Want To Learn
Life is all about learning. This page features some of the skills and hobbies I hope to explore as I continue to grow and challenge myself.
Learn A New Language
One of my goals is to learn a new language because I think it would make traveling even more enjoyable. Using Duolingo to practice would help me build my vocabulary and learn useful phrases before visiting a new country. Knowing basic greetings and common expressions would make it easier to communicate with locals, order food, and experience each destination more confidently. Learning new languages would also help me appreciate different cultures and make every trip more meaningful.
Learn How To Cook
Another goal of mine is to learn how to cook because it is an important life skill that I can use every day. I want to become more confident in the kitchen by learning how to prepare a variety of meals, from simple recipes tot more challenging dishes. Cooking is a great way to become more independent, save money, and make healthier food choices. I think learning this skill will be rewarding and something that I can continue to improve throughout my life.
Learn How To Sew
Learning how to sew is a skill I would like to develop because it is both practical and creative. Knowing how to sew would allow me to repair ripped clothing instead of throwing it away, helping my clothes last longer. I would also love to create my own clothing or customize pieces to match my personal style. Learning to sew would be a fun hobby while also teaching me a valuable skill that I can use for years to come.
Master Public Speaking
Mastering public speaking is an important skill that I hope to improve because it will be valuable throughout my future career. Since I plan on becoming a lawyer, being able to speak clearly and confidently in front of others is essential. Strong public speaking skills will help me present arguments, communicate effectively with clients, and build confidence in professional settings. By practicing and gaining more experience, I hope to become a more persuasive speaker.
